VEX Robotics Competition
Throughout the Summer and Fall, the Marauder Rascals participate in VEX Robotics Competition tournaments throughout the state of Hawai'i. Using VEX EDR, robotics teams around the world compete in a new, alliance-based robot game each year, which includes an autonomous robot and a driver control period. During matches, all teams seek to score as much points as possible.
VEX 2018: Turning Point
Turning Point is a game where the main objective is to score more points than the opposing alliance by high or low scoring caps, flipping toggling flags, and parking on platforms. For this season, the Rascals are being represented by #2477X, #2477Y, and #2477Z.

VEX 2017: In the Zone
In the Zone was a game in which competitors raced to stack as much cones as they can on top of portable, mobile goals, then proceed to carry them into several zones on the opposite side of the field. For this season, the Rascals were represented by #2477X, #2477Y, and #2477Z. Later on in the season, a new team, #2477W was established as a part of #2477Z to provide newer members with the opportunity to create a new robot.

VEX 2016: Starstruck
Starstruck was a game where the main objective was to score as many stars and cubes on the opponent's side of a field. Both game elements needed to be tossed over a tall fence, in which no robot on either side could cross. For this season, the Rascals were represented by #2477X, #2477Y, and #2477Z.

VEX 2015: Nothing But Net
Nothing But Net was a game where the main objective was to score as many balls as possible in a designated goal on the field. Balls can either be loaded by hand into the robot, or must be picked up on the field, depending on the robot's location on the field. For this season, the Rascals were represented by #2477A and #2477Z.
